New Video: "West Bay" from the "Live in the Corner" sessions

A few weeks ago we released a live acoustic video of the song Lift- the opening track from our album (click HERE to see it in case you missed it). Today we're releasing a second video from our "Live In the Corner" sessions. This time it's West Bay, the closing track on the album. In contrast to the album version we made this up-tempo version of "West Bay" more fun and energetic. Enjoy.

Announcing "Live in The Corner"

Recently Ron and I started recording together in my home studio (which we affectionately refer to as “The Corner”). We got the notion to do a couple of songs from our album ("Is Here A Sense"), but we wanted to completely alter the feel that these songs originally had. We recorded and filmed all the sessions and are calling them: "Live In The Corner". The first song from “Live in The Corner” is “Lift”. In sharp contrast to the album, this is a slower, mellow acoustic rendition.

Checkin' Out A New Venue:

RIFAS will be performing two sets at the relaxed, house-styled Dada Restaurant on Thursday 7/28 starting at 11pm. It's a free show and it will mark our first trip to Delray. So if you're anywhere near that vicinity, get nearer!

Transit Lounge show...

Clevelander Rooftop Gig - Rained Out!

We spent a lot of time gearing up for what was to be a very cool show for us. The plan was an all acoustic show on the Clevelander rooftop overlooking the ocean. It was not to be. On the day of the show, black rain clouds followed us as we packed up for the trip to Miami Beach and just hours before the downbeat the skies opened up.

Fret not, though. We're already in the process of rescheduling and will announce the date as soon as we have it.
